Seveso Munari

The new sports hall in Seveso is a modern sports facility built using sustainable materials, primarily wood, and designed in full compliance with CONI’s design guidelines.
The aim was to create a space that is as functional as it is environmentally friendly. The combination of materials used, together with strict compliance with sporting regulations, makes this facility a valuable addition to Seveso’s sporting life. The sports hall is CONI-certified, a recognition that attests to the attention to detail and the high quality of the project.
One of the building’s distinctive features is the abundance of indirect natural light, a condition particularly well-suited to the use of sports facilities. The large glass façade allows the interior spaces to be seen from the outside, showcasing the beauty of the timber structure and creating a visual link between the interior and exterior.
The extension to the sports hall features a zinc-titanium cladding with high thermal performance and water resistance, a large north-facing glazed wall and a smooth rendered finish on the south side. These elements not only enhance the building’s performance but also help to create a comfortable and sustainable environment for those who use it every day.
With the new sports hall in Seveso, the community now has a state-of-the-art sports facility that not only meets local sporting needs but also stands out for its commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly design.
