We are in the final of THE PLAN – ECCA Prepainted Metal Envelope Award 2025 with the Bergamo competitive sports facility project!
With its curved shapes and the use of materials and colours that blend harmoniously with the environment, the Bergamo sports centre stands out for the dynamism of its main volume. Its irregular design is emphasised by the Zintek Srl zinc-titanium cladding in its characteristic blue colour.
The precision of the regular joint installation has created a continuous, fluid skin that follows every facet of the architectural design. A surface that not only protects but also amplifies the identity of the entire structure.
This award, promoted by the European Coil Coating Association in collaboration with THE PLAN, celebrates architecture that expresses the aesthetic and technical potential of pre-painted metal, rewarding projects in which innovation, material and form merge into a single vision.
