The project for the new Sereni Institute in Afragola represents a significant transformation for the local community. The scheme involves the demolition and reconstruction of the institute, with the aim of providing modernised, state-of-the-art educational spaces, designed as ‘learning suites’. These innovative spaces are designed to combine different types of activities, creating a flexible and stimulating learning environment capable of adapting to the needs of modern, multidisciplinary teaching.
From a formal perspective, the building’s façade has been designed to blend harmoniously with the urban landscape of Afragola, respecting the area’s visual identity whilst enriching it with a contemporary touch.
Great attention has also been paid to the building’s energy efficiency: the Sereni Institute will be equipped with a state-of-the-art system capable of ensuring high energy performance, thereby reducing running and maintenance costs. This sustainable approach not only helps to minimise environmental impact but also provides a comfortable and healthy environment for students and staff.
The new Sereni Institute will not only be a place of learning, but also a space for innovation and growth, where students can develop their skills in a dynamic and cutting-edge environment.
