The renovation project for the administrative spaces at Azimut's headquarters in Avigliana was conceived in response to the client's need to develop a new layout for the workplace and customer reception areas. The aim is to emphasise the quality of the brand by enhancing the workspaces and commercial areas, paying particular attention to the customer's journey during their visit to the headquarters. The project involves the renovation of the offices in the KPU and KA2 buildings, currently located within the production centre. In addition to giving the spaces a new modern look, the project will have to contend with the existing architecture designed by Gabetti and Isola, which has become the hallmark of Azimut's Piedmont headquarters. The office design has been conceived to offer a hybrid and flexible workspace. The open spaces encourage interaction and exchange between the various work teams, creating a collaborative environment. The individual offices and fully glazed meeting rooms allow for the creation of spaces that, while ensuring privacy, are not isolated, maintaining visual continuity throughout the entire interior space. The project also includes spaces specifically designed for informal meetings and one-on-one meetings. These spaces are designed to facilitate quick discussions and brainstorming, offering an environment suitable for both spontaneous collaboration and private conversations. Significant attention was paid to acoustics. The offices were insulated in both the false ceiling and the floor using highly insulating systems to prevent reverberation and sound propagation. The aim was to ensure a high level of sound insulation in the glass-walled offices compared to the open spaces, creating a quiet, distraction-free working environment. Strategies have also been adopted in the open-plan offices to avoid noise congestion. Barriers consisting of cabinets and high-performance sound-absorbing panel systems have been installed, positioned both at desk level and on the ceiling. These measures aim to reduce ambient noise, creating a quieter and more comfortable working environment, promoting concentration and employee well-being. The intervention involves identifying the appropriate technological solutions to achieve an adequate level of insulation from internal airborne noise in vertical partitions. The activity also includes the design of acoustic treatment aimed at meeting acoustic comfort and privacy requirements.
