The project for the new Sereni Institute in Afragola represents amajor transformation for the local community. Our mission was to demolish and rebuild the institute, offering renovated, state-of-the-art school spaces designed as "learning suites." These innovative spaces are designed to combine different types of activities, creating a flexible and stimulating learning environment, capable of adapting to the needs of modern, multidisciplinary teaching.
From a formal point of view, the building envelope was designed to blend chromatically into the urban context of Afragola, respecting the visual identity of the place and enriching it with a contemporary touch. We also paid great attention to the building's energy efficiency. The Sereni Institute will be equipped with a state-of-the-art facility that will ensure maximum energy efficiency while minimizing operating and maintenance costs. This sustainable approach not only contributes to a lower environmental impact, but also provides a comfortable and healthy environment for students and staff.
